Originally from Marion, Arkansas, the now Memphis-based singer songwriter, Bailey Bigger, has been writing and performing her original music since the age of nine. Now eighteen, Bailey has performed at many local festivals and listening rooms across the Mid-South. She released her first record, “Closer to Home,” last June and is currently working on a new record with the University of Memphis campus label, Blue Tom Records. This will be released in May on all listening platforms. Influenced by artists like Bob Dylan, Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris, and Townes Van Zandt, Bailey brings the term ‘three chords and the truth’ back into play with her haunting folk songs. She plans to continue to create music and share it with the rest of the world, bringing back the raw, authentic sounds from the late 60s and early 70s.
